What effect will Bo have on recruiting this year?

I am not really sure what effect Bo will have on the recruiting situation. I think it helps that we actually have coach with some time to lock in some guys before signing day. I am hoping he will be able to retain most of the recruits and i think if he keeps Watson that will help retain some of the offensive guys. Is there any chance of getting Gabbert back?

I think Bo's reputation speaks for itself. The incoming kids know who he is and what he has done (hell, they can just look him up on Wikipedia if they don't).

Bo will probably follow TO's path and continue recruiting heavy in the state of Nebraska...which I think is a good thing. Also look for the walk on program to pick back up.

As far as Gabbert, I'd be surprised if he changes his mind and comes back to Lincoln...but I won't lose any sleep over it. We've had other QB's decide to go elsewhere (*cough* Freeman *cough*)...and we know how well he's doing

Gabbert is gone for good. The Gabbert family is close to Callahan, so we lose Gabbert along with Callahan. Not the first time we've lost a big recruit, and I'm sure it won't be the last. It would have been nice to get Gabbert, but we have some pretty good QBs with a lot of eligibility still in the program.
