Thank you! I mentioned this in another thread, I thought for sure with them burning his redshirt the coaches would be having a coming out party for him. Again I was let down by this staff. Now we have three sophomore running backs next year...this is a complete messI don't think Newby played that bad actually. What's not getting discussed enough, IMO, is the fact that the coaches burned Jordan Stevenson's redshirt so that he could catch and down a couple kickoffs. WTH? Give him at least a couple carries.
Actually I think it was JR who wanted to burn it. The coaches talked to him about What that meant for him and he still wanted to do it. Would not surprise me if that we part of the deal for him coming here.Thank you!
