What in the world happened to Major Culbert?

Man, I always thought he was getting the shaft from the old regime by not finding him a permanent position and not giving him enough reps to earn playing time...Now we seem to know with Bo that if you practice hard and earn it, you WILL play.

He always seemed to be able to make some things happen either at running back or safety...I remember on my college team guys would have a great season or two then kind of just 'lose it' by injury or attitude or age or whatever...Does anyone know what happened to this guy?

 
Or, maybe he's dumber than a box of rocks and has all the athletic ability in the world but has absolutely no idea how to use it? I have no idea.

He can't pick up the defense is what I hear. Younger players are outplaying him and getting the defense better.

Major Culbert and Colonel Sanders got drunk and got into it with Major Payne. Private Ryan told General Motors about it and General Motors sent them to the stockades where they will be under the supervision of Sergeant Slaughter. Ouch.
