A very liberal state requiring ID to get health insurance.    Will the ACLU be staunchly advocating to get rid of these restrictions?   Or does that only apply to voting?  According to you and the ACLU, minority groups and the impoverished won’t be able to access these benefits designed for them because they have no way of getting an ID??  But yet, somehow they are able to get one and sign up for benefits.    Hmmmmm

The conversation you jumped in on and replies to and was one I was having with someone else in this thread was on voter ID impacts.  
 

My link wasn’t in regards to healthcare as a whole which I’m sure you understand, because I was specific about the signing up for benefits component of it and the ID requirement of signing up.

Problem is Dems aren't breaking the law. He wants to change the law because the current system means they might have an easier time cheating - despite no evidence that they are.

Repubs can't do the same thing because they've spent decades telling their voters that collecting ballots is bad.

I mean, let's be real here.

The reason why the Republican Party lost their chance at the Senate and will just barely squeak across the finish line in the House is because the leaders of the party embraced the crazy in this country.  People like MTG, Boebert, and others.  Politicians without any kind of a backbone.

It doesn't matter how many laws, legislative things, gerrymandering that happens.  If they continue to subscribe to:

  • Cockamamie "alternative facts" about people stealing elections....
  • Cockamamie "alternative facts" about people "harvesting ballots"....
  • Cockamamie "alternative facts" about people fixing ballots....
  • An unwillingness to do their freaking jobs....
  • A willingness to continue embracing this nut that says that he's this genius leader and he's likely going to be in prison in the next couple years - which is why he keeps running for office....

they will continue to lose elections.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again. 

It's been six years of this guy. 

It's relentless. 

It's non stop.

People are tired of it.  Anyone who is willing to say no to EVERYTHING that their opponent says is just an idiot.  EVERYBODY has some redeeming quality about them (most do, at least).  You can't say "I'll never agree with that person."
