What is the record for most points given up in a quarter by NU?

Offense did a good job setting up that 28 point quarter. The ABC broadcast said it was the most given up in a quarter in Lincoln, but I know that we were down 35-0 after the 1st quarter against Oklahoma in 08.

Most in Lincoln, I believe.

CU did it too when they hung 27 on us in the 4th quarter once.... that was 4 TDs as well, but they went for two and failed after the second TD.

Didn't Washington do it soon after that, or was one of those in the third quarter? I can't remember, but I recall losing by 2 TDs after being up by about 2 TDs.

This is probably your winner. But Colorado 2001 comes to mind too, but that was only 28.

Largest second half deficit at home in the last 10 years. Woo!
That aint right. USC had us 49-17 before two garbage time TD's in 2007. That was only 6 years ago.
I think you're thinking of something else. Nebraska was outscored 31-0 in the second half.
when i see 2nd half deficit, i think how many points we are behind by. you know, deficit. this must be about "outscored"

Well, just looking at the second half, we were down 31-0. But I get what you're saying.

Texas Tech put up 21 and 28 in the 3rd and 4th quarters of that 10-70 game.

We scored 48 on CU in the 3rd quarter of the '83 game, just to shine a light in the darkness.
