What makes this year a success?

With all the preseason buzz, anything less than 10 wins and conference championship will be a dissappointment. We need to get over that October slump we've had the last 2 years.

 
My expectations are pretty low this year. To make it a successful season for me we must beat South Dakoda State. If we beat them, the season for me is a success :sarcasm Big 12 north championship is good for me. Hopefully we can win the championship game and make the Fiesta!

 
My expectations are pretty low too. Lose no more than 1 game and make it to the National Championship game. Win or Lose, I think that will make our season a success. However, if we do win than expectations have been met and I will be happy.

Simple: Crush your enemy. See him flee before you. Hear the lamentation of the women.

 
My main goal is to win the Big 12. If we do that I'm satisfied with our season if we don't I may still be happy with our season depending on how we do but I'll still be a little disappointed.

On my radio show yesterday, I probably jinxed you. Sorry.

I said that Nebraska had the talent and the schedule (Texas at home, no Oklahoma), to go 12-0 this year. I believe the Blackshirts are back (even without Suh) and the offense will be much better.

That just leaves a game with Oklahoma (my pick to win the South) standing between the Huskers and the BCS championship game.

You can blame me if it doesn't work out.

Good luck this season. I'll be rooting for you.............There is no place like Nebraska.

Agree, Big 12 champ would be about right. 10 win regular season should be minimum, 11 or 12 win - Great. And keep Bo's undefeated Bowl streak alive would be a great way to enter the Big 10.

I sense a new nickname coming BOwl game Bo.

 
What will make the 2010 season a successs for me is 1 - improve on offense; 2 - keep playing at the caliber on defense we saw last year; 3 - Win the North & Big 12 championship; and 4 - have a good showing in a BCS bowl.

I think he has already earn that nickname.... 3 bowl wins in 3 tries. I believe in all 3, experts didnt think we could pull it off.
