What Not to Do on Gameday

I had to attend a party the wife planned for us during the KU game last year. I grumbled until I found out they had a TV. I got yelled at all night because I ignored everyone and stormed out when they changed the channel.

i wouldnt go to my own wedding if it fell on a husker game, not that i would ever plan it that day.

For when I had to work on game day, I'd plan my (work) schedule around the game. There was 2 (I know the exact number, because it was hell) games last season that I missed (Nichols St. and Missoura) because I had to work during the game, but I made sure the gf was texting me updates on my cell phone (FYI: this really helped in converting her). And of course I'd send her drunken texts if she had to work during a game.
I made my work bring out a TV if I HAD to work. It was either a TV or a sick day....they could pick.

I think I need to work there.

Yep, a moron friend of mine is getting married the day NU plays USC. Its a test to determine how good of friends we actually are.
That is a test. If he is still your friend after you skip the wedding I guess you are good friends. :)

Got married on Husker game day in 1971...NU vs Colorado....game in the afternoon...wedding in the evening....still married 35+ years later.

You just have to have priorities...LOL

More difficult now what with so many gametimes not decided until the week ahead of time.
