A lot moreWhen you look at the portal visitors we have coming in there has to be more roster churn coming.
the one that blew the MSU game isn't worth his scholarship
I highly doubt Cerni makes it to fall being on the roster
If he is actually taking a medical hardship, he will probably be sticking around.I highly doubt Cerni makes it to fall being on the roster
He can attend Nebraska for college, but he's not on the team.If he is actually taking a medical hardship, he will probably be sticking around.
Wrong, he is still part of the team. Nebraska needs to ask for an exemption to make sure he does not count toward the total. This will just give an extra yr of eligibility. He can attend Nebraska for college, but he's not on the team.

Medical hardship, same as redshirt, is different when it's at the beginning of the season and during the season. And yes, medical retirement does not count towards the scholarship totals because the player is done playing. You can not ask for an exemption during the season, but can at the beginning. And that player can come back after the medical year.Wrong, there is a difference between a medical redshirt (Will Honas) and medical hardship (Tre Bryant).
Tre Bryant retired from football and got to keep his scholarship without counting against limits. This is a Tre Bryant situation, not a Will Honas situation.
There are Medical Hardships and Medical Disqualifications. If NU is looking to get away from counting Cerni's scholarship, then that would be a Medical Disqualification and Cerni's days playing for NU would be over. The Medical Hardship is a request to get an additional year of eligibility after sustaining a season-ending injury, which Honas is applying for. Will Honas's scholarship still counted against NU's limit in 2021, even though he was injured and didn't play.Medical hardship, same as redshirt, is different when it's at the beginning of the season and during the season. Where did they say that they want to get him off scholarship? I understood this to be a 1 year deal. There are Medical Hardships and Medical Disqualifications. Here is some info from the U of Washington website. https://static.gohuskies.com/old_site/pdf/genrel/medical_hardship_policy.pdf
But that wouldn't free up the scholarship. My understanding is that they are ready to move on from Cerni, and they are offering him the medical scholarship to finish his education and NU would have that scholarship not count against the 85 limit.Where did they say that they want to get him off scholarship? I've not heard that, SOURCE.But that wouldn't free up the scholarship. My understanding is that they are ready to move on from Cerni, and they are offering him the medical scholarship to finish his education and NU would have that scholarship not count against the 85 limit.
You are gonna pull the "source" card now. It's only been posted by numerous people. I'm done with you. You are lame.I've not heard that, SOURCE.
