As a 9 year old I was fascinated by the 1968 presidential election and can still name the primary candidates on both sides. I think I saw it like a sports competition. I wanted RFK as my starting quarterback. 

I thought this cartoon was appropriate for our discussion.   Caused me to pause and reflect when I saw it:

I have Voted

I have never donated to a political candidate not should anyone.  Unless you want hat money to be used for the politicians own expenses disguised as political campaign expenses.   
 

I have lied to canvassers by saying the homeowner wasn’t  home after answering the door
