What quality of assistants are actually interested in these jobs at this point?

I know...I would totally not be interested in a two year contract that pays me like 35K a month and all I have to do is help a team in a s#!tty division get to about 7 wins and then I get another year added on...

Oh and if it doesn't work...I just go jump on with another school.
I can think of a couple other reasons.  Like wanting to drive a Range Rover.

This thread is serious dang it!

I for one think we need more threads about the same topic but slightly different.

I am Richard Hangslow and I am running for board President.
I'll vote for you or anyone that change the settings so a new member can't post until a certain amount of days after joining.  That would stop a majority of the problem and various "troll's" after a loss.  It never seems to be changed.  It's kinda like Nebraska football ... the problem and solution seem obvious [but nothing ever really changes].  Ha ha.

For coaches with families it might depend.  Uprooting just to possibly go somewhere for a year or two.  Depends on the coach and their situation I suppose.
To be fair, they do this with their families all the time. It wouldn’t be anything new.
