What T-Mart is doing is extremely surprising

of course we wouldn't be the same team. We would be a team lead by one of the other 2 VERY capable quarterbacks. You don't have to beat a team by 3 touchdowns, or bust off a 85 yard run to win a game. You just have to have more points after 4 quarters. I think people forget that sometimes. I am very confident we could do that to any team in the Big12 if not country, without Taylor.
Whether they are capable or not, I am not sure that they would be able to win every big 12 game this year. But, what I am sure about is the fact that our coaches evaluate every situation in every position to be able to find the best players available and get them on the field. That is why T-Mart is the starter.

Husker Freak,

"Whether they are capable or not, I am not sure that they would be able to win every big 12 game this year."

THEY do not win games, TEAMS win games. We have the top defensive group in the nation. WE have a dominant offensive line, a stud WR, with 3+ deep RBs. No one is doubting Taylor should be the starter- but you act as though our season hinders on the capabilities of T-Marts ability to run one play that requires him to read a linebacker. The author of the post said, "High School team and their offense was not nearly as Dependent on him as the huskers". Which is totally wrong. We are not dependent on him.

eh? wasn't he like player of the year in Cali or something?
he was nominated as a candidate and his team won the state title (A game i went to) but he wasn't player of the year that was someone named Matt Barkley
Um wrong! Tmart was the max preps cali player of the year. Not Barkley.
Maxpreps is not the best site they are known to be homers for certain schools and often don't have actually employees attending some of the games they "cover". Barkley was the number 1 player on 90% of websites and papers and even Gatorade national player of the year. Tho he is so much hype my high school team played him 3 times as we are in the same league a Mater Dei and beat him all 3 times.
He was also named the golden state southern california offensive player of the year. And led his team to a state champ something barkley can not say. And he put up those numbers and was only at that high school one year.
I am no means a Barkley apologist I was on the sideline fore 2 of his games against my team and we intercepted him 7 times in 3 years. All I am saying is that from what i saw in games from tmart he was not THIS dynamic. I am not saying he sucked in HS in fact he was very very very good all I am saying is he didn't look THIS good

I think I may have mislead you in what I was trying to say. I definately believe that it's a team game and in no way shape or form do I think that one player will win the game. I do think that one player with the personel that you or we have can be the difference between a win or a loss. One player can match their skills with the skills by the O-Line and the skills of the Wideouts esp. blocking abilities, and of course the RB combo that we have, and give you the best chance to win. Also I was trying to say that I am tired of reading (not from you or the author of the post) but in general that Lee should be getting more reps. The coaches are playing the best proven player.
