what to look for in the big 12

I think that Purify is a big time receiver for us. It seemed to me however that he could make outstanding acrobatic catches, but could not catch the routine pass. I think that Niles Paul, Nunn and Mo will make an outstanding receiving core that Keller will take full advantage of. If Nunn, and Mo play like they are capable, and Paul lives up to the hype (which i think he will) Keller will break numerous passing records this year. Now the only question on offense is can the running back committe step up enough (with balanced and appropriate play calling) to make the WCO work like it is capable. I just hope that we dont see more run run run, pass pass pass 3 and outs next year. Those are sickening.
Please name more than 3 times he dropped the ball right at him.

I think you have him mixed up with the other recievers.
he did drop a few against OU and UA

I only remeber one drop last year from Purify... He fumbled once, but that isnt a drop. I know for sure that he never dropped "a few" in any game, and I dont think the whole season either.

the biggest problem withpurify last year is that he is so retarted he has to go out every thrid play to find out what he has to do, he is a physical beast but mental retard,

are you mental?

you make it sound like it was his 2nd or 3rd year in the system. did you ever read Coach Gilmore's comments on why MO was getting limited playing time? it was because the staff did not want to shake his confidence like what happened to Hardy last year. The staff wanted to take it slow, because they knew it is a difficult one to learn.

next time try to get some insight on a subject before you post, otherwise you will end up looking like an :asshat

hey husker rob, do you think a coach is going to say that he doesn't know the plays, of course he wouldn't

if you have ever talked to Mo before you know that he isn't the brightest kid in the world, I shouldn't have retard I'm sorry but Purify is not that smart, it doesn't take two years for recievers to learn the system- ask nunn who got a ton of pt as a frosh the most under bc

Another poster some time ago mentioned that MO had learning disabilities. It may take him a long time to learn his routes, etc. He's not a "he's not a retard."

yeah actually i have heard the coach say that about players. Jordon said it about Wilson, and Gilmore said it about Brooks and Hardy.

That being said, there was a reason that MO went to JUCO as well as a lot of other JUCO players. Failing to qualify academically.

really you have heard a coach call mentally retarded publicly, because the coach you 99.9% get fired if they did

You call MO a retard? I bet he can at least develop a sentence with proper structure and grammar.

i am really starting to wonder about you. lets go back to your question. (see highlighted above) yes, i have heard the coaches say that some of the players were not playing much because of not knowing the plays well enough. reference the above examples. never once did i say that i heard a coach say that the players were retards

are you sure you are not a little "de-de-deee"

Green will be in the same position for two years - Not true he is switching safety spots and will be in Shanles spot

Bowman will be our shut down corner, he will always be on the other teams best guy. Because of that the other corner doesnt have to play as well, - Dont think Grixby will see the field except to return punts, i expect Jones/Murillo to start with the other at nickel

Culbert, Thenarse and West could all contribute if necessary - I see Thenarse moving back to safety and being the heir apparent to Greens spot (due to his athleticism)

Add Octo and Dillard at LB full time (2 better LB than we had last year) and our defense is getting better

Throw in Suh who is better than Ola and the Beast or one of the Juco guys - Better yet

Turner will be AWESOME

Our Defense (talent wise) will be much improved but a word of caution....

WE STILL HAVE THE SAME D-COORDINATOR

When I've seen a great shut down corner, the opposing team always goes to the opposite side.

Seems the "other" CB would have to be up to it, and, Jones/Murillo should be sight lot better that Cortney.

WE STILL HAVE THE SAME D-COORDINATOR
Don't remind us. But, we can sure hope that this year we'll see more tackling fundamentals on display.
