What unsung Husker will emerge in fall camp?

I’m not sayin it has to be a guy who’s never played in a game. LINK Just somebody we haven’t heard much about who bursts onto the scene this coming month. Can’t be on last year’s 2-deep. And don’t say Brion Carnes, because, well, duh.

Guys like Chase Rome and Kenny Bell have both gotten tons of ink and are therefore disqualified from this thread. I’m thinking maybe Daimion Stafford. But even Stafford was highly touted as a recruit. So better yet, someone like Tobi Okuyemi. Now there’s a guy you don’t hear much about. Tobi Okuyemi. He could be our next special teams demon. That's my guess.

So let me get this straight. You're simple easy requirements for what you personally want in a response of who "WE" think is going to emerge out of fall camp are as follows.

Said Player cannot have been from last years two deep roster.

Said Player can have playing time.

Said Player cannot be Brion Carnes

Said Player cannot be Chase Rome

Said Player cannot be Kenny Bell

Said Player cannot be "guys like" either of the three forementioned. AKA, people like Daimon Stafford or Tobi Okuyemi or others that most "casual" Husker fans who are not members of this board, have ever heard of.

So I guess the appropriate question is who would "you" like me to pick?

Ha ha! Yeah, I guess I went overboard on the constraints. I should have just said "unheralded" and left it at that. I just didn't want to get twenty guys guessing the obvious three or four players who really aren't sleeper picks. And yes, Bronson Marsh would be a perfect candidate for someone who could burst onto the scene.

Probably doesn't meet your criteria, but I'll throw it out there anyway. Eric Martin is gonna have a huge year. The defensive line scheme is going to change a little bit and it's going to fit Caveman perfectly. No longer just a special teams maniac...
