What was your beer choice in college?

I started on Bud Light, went to Coors for a while, went to Budweiser for a while, then went to Keystone for a quite a while until I figured out that was why my stomach hurt the entire next day. These days I'm a Bud Light Lime guy.

Miller High Life always had a special of $8.99 for a 30 pack with a $2 mail in rebate. Drank too many of these in the college years.

Went to UNK during the peak of the Party Ball era so whatever was on sale at the liquor store by where Hardee's was(Dont know if either is still there). Otherwise it was Natty lite or Coors lite.
Many a Monster Burger was consumed from that Hardee's in my day. To my knowledge the liquor store is still there, but the Hardee's is a Qdoba now. But the car is still there. It's been a couple years since I've f'd sh#t up in that town though.

Natty Light or Busch Light, still drink that stuff like it's going out of style.

Usually just whatever was on sale: High Life, Busch Light, Keystone, Lacrosse Light. For a while the corner gas station had flats of Keystone tall boys that were cheaper than than a case of regular cans.

I'm mentioned this before, but we also had this:

It was like $9 for a 30 pack. Only beer I've ever seen in a fruity purple can. Tastes like sh#t.

Well, the first keg was always Bud Light. Any keg after that was always the cheapest Ace's liqueur had because by that time, nobody cared.

For canned beer, it was usually Coors Light silver bullets.

From time to time, if we were really broke, we would drink Beer beer.

Trip down memory lane....there were several campus brewery reps on campus that would buy the occasional pitcher of their brand at the college hot spots (i.e. Water Hole) in the 70's to build some loyalty. The Falstaff rep organized a bus trip from Lincoln to the old Omaha brewery complete with food, beer, and a great band. It was the talk of campus for weeks and led an otherwise meh beer to rank in one of the top beers sold at UNL in the day.

Preferred Bud Light, drank alot of Busch Light. But because it was cheap was known to buy Miller High Life 30 pack, The Champagne of Beers. It was under $10 for a 30 IIRC.
