**** What we Learned - McNeese St Edition ****

The offense is deadly on 3rd and long after two incompletions
The defense had issues with Louisiana speed
After a solid week 1 victory, the team we thought we'd see, showed up
Beck, back to his old ways of failing to make ingame adjustments
If a Defense loads up the box, utilize a TE or a FB. Lining up 3 WR's isn't condusive to a power run game.
Ameer Abdullah is f*cking amazing

still biting on my junk.... lol

Same crap different year... Won one we shouldn't of, will lose one we shouldn't.... Make it to 9, since you cant fire a 9 win coach for any reason, see you in 2015.... all ready to do it again....

Can't argue with any of that.

We couldn't dominate the LOS on offense, and we looked rather slow on defense.

Not a terrific combination.

They did get b!^@h slapped fairly efficiently...

Hopefully this wakes them up now, instead of later, and they play angry and hungry the rest of this year...

Trying to predict what we're going to get out of this team is impossible.

KB's absence probably more damaging than we'd think.

TA forces too much.

Beck goes away from what works.

Bando is awful.

Santos is too.

Ameer is my spirit animal.

Both lines need to figure their sh#t out.

Learned that the Cardiac Cornhuskers are back again!

Also learned never, and I mean NEVER, take the Huskers and give up 40.5 points on the spread.

That it's going to be a big uphill climb to make 9 wins. Now what I want to learn is how many wins does it take to keep a Bo Pelini for season 8?

We learned that FCS opponents have everything to play for in this type of game. Recognition. What do we have to play for? Nothing. Business as usual. Why even play these games when the emphasis of football gets bigger at a younger age, thus narrowing the gap of talent. Perception kills, Perception is the basis of recruiting. Perception is what drives...

We don't have a great perception, nor does our conference, and I don't see it getting better any time soon.
