I just got off the phone with my source and she told me what is going to go down. According to her we are going to win the 5 remaining regular season games to finish 9-3; however this WILL NOT be enough to save Callahan’s job. He will be let go the day after we beat Colorado leaving many in Husker Nation to wonder how TO could fire a 9-3 coach. Watson will be appointed interim HC for the bowl game which we will win to finish the season 10-3. This will lead to a coaching change with staff turn over and some players and recruits leaving the program. After a search a new HC will be brought in and the face of Husker Nation as we have grown accustom to under the current staff will be totally revamped and everything that the current staff worked to build will be torn apart. The new HC will be immediately celebrated by some while part of Husker Nation wants results first. Husker Nation will be divided and it will be the direct result of the AD firing a staff that finished 10-3. Many will call for the AD’s firing while others will say he did the right thing and the program will be better for change that was made.

This is how it is going to go down. My source is usually always right and for $1.00 a minute she better be otherwise I’m going to look like a fool since I posted this for the whole world to see.

:thumbs Maybe not an I Bleed Red thread but it will do. History is all about repeating itself but I can never really see the state of Nebraska turning on TO though.

Knowing this is a sarcastic post. I would have to say anyone that has a 9-3 or higher season should not be given the axe though, I would hope BC would have been told that the DC has to be replaced because I could not see them being the reason NU won those games.

On another note that would probably be the first Nebraska team if they went 10-3 not to make it into the top 25.

Callahan sucks, Coz needs to go. Elmo can’t coach. Bo Pelini is my top choice for HC. I love Brian Kelly. Marlon Lucky is average at best. The DB's need to turn for the ball. Grixby is bad, Grixby is good. There are going to be some coaches getting fired either this week or in the future. Thanks for the inside information I Bleed Red….BFF 10-3 to 5-6?

Our recruits are good but man have you seen Oklahoma’s? That kid sucks he only has 3 stars. That guy is the best because he has 74 stars. Gabbert is not playing good, he is overrated. Bo Pelini for HC.

I heard from my inside source that Tom Osborne sent a private jet owned by Warren Buffet to Hawaii to bring June Jones to NU to be the new HC/AD and that d!(k Butkus and Mike Ditka were going to be CO-DC's

But when the plane got to Hawaii, it was not June Jones at the airport it was Jim Jones and he had a whole new batch of Kool-aid to send over

Wait I have a NEW and CLEVER idea, I will start a thread about Bo Pelini, or about the up coming Coaching changes, or better yet I will start one about what coach I would like to see take over after Callahan is fired. Those haven’t been done before. <_<

Heh, I don't think that contributing to the problem also solves it :) Not that I care; if a thread annoys me, I just hit the back button.

 
Nebraska went 10-3 because they had one of the best defenses in the nation, not because Solich had an outstanding offense
