What will it take to beat Wisconsin?

Hope wiscy decides to primarily feature ball. Seriously James white is way scarier as a back than ball.

And has been mentioned protect the ball to not give them short fields and contain Abercrombie on the out side.

Chris Borland not being 100% won't hurt either

Pretty easy - limit Ball's yardage, limit mistakes and turnovers. Easier said than done, but it's not impossible.

I think everyone can agree that the Huskers have to stop the run, or at least minimize it. Do the Huskers have the "horses" to do it? Run defense... not a strength. Ranked 77th in the country, and only ahead of three teams in the conference (Illinois, Purdue and Indiana).

stay focused. realize that even though they won out from osu in the regular season, they are two wins away from a really good year.

Watching PSU run the ball right down their throats. Pretty "basic" drive, straight running. Borland for Wisky is out. Unsure about next week. I figure win or lose, they are in so rest him and get healthy.

Watching Wisky's OL steam roll PSU. Our DL needs to show up big time. Their (Wisky) OL pulls to the outside quickly.

It's indoors, which means no wind, which means as long as we hold onto the ball we'll win by five or six touchdowns. Just let our juggernaut of an offense go up and down the field on those flunkies. Losing the anchor of both lines to injury will not phase us. We reload.

But really, I think Bo's teams have a good psychology for really big games. It's going to be exciting. Obviously we need to force them to pass and bracket Abbrederis. As well as Compton has played, he has a tendency to play his gap really poorly 2-3 times per game. Without Baker, the linebacker play will be huge. We can't afford to give up any 70-yard TD runs.

Although it's clearly against the odds, winning the turnover battle would be huge. Getting a sack fumble or a tipped INT could make the difference

On offense, I hope we really throw a lot at them early. We can open it up without being too risky. Diamond formation. Play-action. Take shots down the sideline. Not that any of this excludes giving Rex and Ameer a heavy dose of our normal run plays. If we go jump out early a la 2010, Wisconsin doesn't have the firepower to catchup.
