What would you do?

I was reading on another board about the whole Prince melt down. One poster stated if he were an assistant that Prince made run the stairs, he would quit but not before faxing off the play book and scouting reports to opponents.

Does anyone else think that this is just plain WRONG. I can understand having no loyalty to Prince but I think you need to respect the program and the players.....faxing off the playbook once again is just WRONG!

i dont know if he made them run the stairs or not, but i posted 2 articles from kansas newspapers in a thread in the Big 12 forum. in one of the articles it said that "following practice to attone for their sins, the entire offense, including some assistant coaches, where running stairs"

now back to the question at hand, i dont know if i would fax the playbook around or not. i guess it would depend on if i ever wanted to coach at the college or pro level again, because if you give that away like that , what coach in his right mind would ever hire you.

According to a couple of different reports the whole offence ran stairs, assistants included. One article even said it was metal bleachers and cleats (not a good combination unless you are looking for an injury). Like was posted earlier, depends on if you ever want to coach again other than you little one's pee wee team. It would be pretty darn funny though and probably garner some national headlines.

that's crazy, sure doesn't sound like he has much respect for his coaches.

From the way it sounded -- they all needed to run to get it thru their big heads they practiced like crap. Coaches included. If you can't complete a single pass, I can't blame Prince for being upset.

But as the HC, he needs to take his responsibility as well and run the same stairs as the rest of them. At the end of the day, he is the one more responsible for the way his team performs than anyone else.

But he really made his players run metal stairs in cleats? What an idiot.

Running on metal bleachers with cleats on is just plain f'ing stupid!!!! If I was one of those guys I would tell Prince to f#*k off and transfer to another school!!!! That's just plain stupid!!!!!

I agree with you, that would be pretty bad. But...

Yes, there's always a but...

But, I would find it hilarious if one of Princess' assistants did that.
