only 3 losses...but man were those losses bloodbaths!Lord wasn't bad in '03. He led us to a 10-3 season so at least he didn't leave on a bad note.

I don't know about worst in Div-1 (remember, that includes AA too) but I'm definately gonna agree with polo here. I couldn't stand Lord at all.I'm sorry, granted he is a better football player than I (not saying a whole lot,), but Jammall Lord could have been the worst starting D-1 QB in 02-03.
-HE was a ball hogging option QB when he had Cory Ross to pitch it to.
-He could not pass to save his life
--His losses to Kstate at home, Mizzou, Texas, and the entire 02 season were an absolute abortion.
- Arguably his best career play (touchdown pass against KSU in 03,) shouldn;t have counted, he was down.
-He did not care one iota about this program (witness interview post 03 KSU, or his actions with his alleged girlfriend abuse)
-The guy flat out sucked. He is a scout team NFL player only becuase he played for NU. You could even make the argument (and I would, happily) that Lord was a major factor is Solich getting fired
Lord's career record was 17-10. That is with two years.Lord goes 10-3 and is hated (Career 17-7)
Taylor goes 7-5 and is loved (needs 10 wins ti tie Lord)
Lord had no heart or leadership? Did you watch the Huskers when Jamaal was our QB? Maybe one of the best option QB's we've ever had; it wasn't his fault he didn't have a supporting cast. That guy was a warrior, he played his A$$ off and gave everything he possibly could to the team and the program. Just because he lost more games than the QB's before him was not his fault. He was a great QB for the system he was recruited for. It's not about wins or losses, It's all about the attitude, leadership, and character of a person. Lord doesn't even come close to Taylor when comparing those categories.
Where do you get that? Does he not get the win at Kstate because he got knocked out?Taylor goes 7-5 and is loved (needs 10 wins ti tie Lord)
sorry man but that is a dumb comment...arguably his best career play? are you serious?- Arguably his best career play (touchdown pass against KSU in 03,) shouldn;t have counted, he was down.
nothing in god's earth could be f'uglier than oregons puke yellow uni's,NEBRASKA should stick to a classic look. :restore2I would go as far as saying those uniforms were worst then Oregon's
A couple of side notes about Lord. He had to change his phone number numerous times due to people calling and threatening him and his family. Would you want to stand up and defend a program with fans like that? It's not about wins or losses, It's all about the attitude, leadership, and character of a person. Lord doesn't even come close to Taylor when comparing those categories.
What was up with those pants they whore in the Holiday bowl. An experiment gone wrong?nothing in god's earth could be f'uglier than oregons puke yellow uni's,NEBRASKA should stick to a classic look. :restore2I would go as far as saying those uniforms were worst then Oregon's
True he has heart. Good option qb. The only problem was that we weren't running the option anymore. The guy had receivers running wide open all over the field and would pull it down and run for 2 to 3 yards.Lord had no heart or leadership? Did you watch the Huskers when Jamaal was our QB?
