What's going on in Iowa?

Iowa pulls that crap every single year man. It's annoying as someone who spent his teen years there and still goes back for family... No one ever seems to call them out on it. There's this perception that they're this formidable team... I just laugh and say they're just Iowa.

Equally perplexing is this universal national perception that Ferenz is an outstanding coach..........??

He's not a bad coach. He's just not great. Sound familiar?

Ferentz runs a program that is exactly what we fear ours becoming under Bo... consistently mediocre. Good enough to get to 2nd or 3rd tier bowl game and never compete for championships. Never bad enough to get fired.

Ball State looked awful and had no business winning that game, but give them some credit. They did win 10 games last year, and 9 the year before.

Ferentz is most certainly the most overpaid coach I've ever seen though.
