Whats Wrong with Lil' Red?

I for one like Lil' Red! i know he's a hit with the kids too. but i guess i dont pay enough attention to him because i am determined to catch a freakin hot dog from the weaner flinger!!!!!

 
Lil Red is only supposed to appeal to kids...? I laugh out loud everytime I see him doing his routine, :clap especially when he's on his head. :rollin

I also notice that the cheerleaders never change the expression on their face... that doesn't freak ME out. :)

 
Lil Red sucks pretty bad. I mean, I guess he does make Nebraska seem more "'hood" since he doesn't spell the first part of his name correctly, but I don't think that that's necessarilly a good thing.

Best mascot, hands down, is the Hilltopper from WKU. A big red blob with big eyes, can't get any better than that.

UGA for Nebraska! Thats awesome! I used to root for the Dawgs in the 80s when I was young and didnt know anything about football. I still think Athens is one of the coolest college towns in America. Varsity Dogs!!

This is why I haven't left yet, and also becuase girls wear little cocktail dresses to the football games.

 
Lil' Red is odd, but I don't really mind him.

And btw, nothing can possibly make this state more "hood". Take the hardest wannabe thugs here and drop them into a mildly bad neighborhood in someplace like LA and they will soil themselves within seconds.

 
ha, funny you bring up lil Red..

at first I was like, what the hell is that inflatable doll? then I saw him suck in his arms and head and body and then blow back up super fast and expand to about 9 ft tall and bounce on his head and i liked him...kinda trippy to me instead of creepy!

I for one am more displeased with the herbie. I like the way he walks in slow motion and slowly pumps his fist in front of his body and then raises his #1 finger, but I don't like the way he looks, really. I wish we just had a blonde dude in overalls with a cowboy hat on and a corn cob in his pocket. seems more real to me anyway
