Bill Byrne was a good AD

Would have been interesting if NU had hired Greg Byrne as AD instead of Shawn Eichorst.  We all know Eichorst was hired to fire Bo, but I think Greg Byrne could have done some very good things at NU, as he's done at Alabama the past few years.

We should have (somehow) had Craig Bohl as HC upon T.O.'s retirement and never Frank Solich. 

Craig Debacle in Boulder Bohl? The DC that made no adjustments for runs up the gut and exposed Nebraska as being merely mortal after all? Nobody in the country believed we could be beat until that day and Craig Bohl.

Edit- of course you may have a point. If he had been HC maybe our DC doesn’t totally screw the pooch that day.

Have some loyalty and get behind the Huskers with Mickey and staff.  There are only 2 weeks left in the season.  Quit being crybabies about the next coach every minute of the day.  We doing the best we can in the moment. Aint nobody that is husker player or is staff personnel asked for all of this going into the year.

I could never stand Frank Solich ever since driver's ed at Southeast High when he'd play with his nads while "instructing."  Corner of the eye stuff that staring at the road ahead could not fully alleviate.  The guys laughed about it but all the gals could talk about was his "cute walk."

If you would have said Devaney, I could probably agree.  I guess it all depends on where you want to put Barry Switzer.  Switzer absolutely owned TO.

It is an interesting thought exercise if Byrne was able to conduct a real search for the next HC.  We don't end up with Solich, Byrne might stay and not go to A&M since he has his guy at HC, we never get Stevie P, etc, etc, etc.
