I can't remember for sure but weren't there some players with similar reactions after Riley's firing? Loyalty is great but I think too many of Miles' guys are being loyal to a fault
I do remember that with Bo. I was just thinking that there were maybe a few guys that were overly supportive for a losing coach but I'm probably remembering wrong. Not really. Just with Bo. It made more sense with Bo because he won a lot of games.
I’ll probably always laugh at the comment by Trueblood that if they fire Miles the program will be set back years.
Not to mention basketball can be turned around very quickly. A couple of guys in one recruiting cycle can make a massive difference. Whereas with football it can take years to get all the pieces in place.I do remember that with Bo. Haha no kidding. Assuming Hoiberg does get the hire, we would have set the program back years by not firing Miles. Which was a big topic of conversation on this board a month or two ago. I think we have the answer.
