This got me thinking: when USC comes to town, and sees our facilities [weight room, indoor practice field, 40-ft 'N' fountain, et al], maybe we get some of their talent thinking about transferring.

I like the fact the game is at night, so there's more time for our facilities to make an impression to USC kids who never really considered NU.

eh maybe. I doubt USC's facilities aren't up to par with ours. They got quite a bit of money over at that school. If there are any players considering transferring I think it'll come down to what happens at game time. The crowd, the stadium, the way Nebraska plays...

I doubt we will pull any of thier scholarship athletes away. Being on the team that most think is the best since our run has its rewards. Two recent National Championships, projected to be one this and and be stronger next year.

Did I mention looking at the Song Girls?

The campus is nice, just don't go outside the fence.

Did I mention looking at the Song Girls?

Did I mention looking at the coeds.

Did I mention the weather.

The mountains.

The beaches.

The gangs, well most came from them anyway, so they fit in.

Song Girls?

My bet would be not a chance.

I agree with your list. However you left out two things:

1. In n Out

2. And did you mention the Song Girls?

Yeah, seriously doubt that one and the ethics of that border on Texas-ish.
Agreed. Sheesh.
This isn't a matter of ethics - I never said anything about actively recruiting their players away.

I simply stated the atmosphere, the facilities (which USC might be able to match or slightly exceed), etc. might get in the mind of some USC players, which could lead them to consider other options.

I also think that NU still is not on back on the top level nationally yet recruiting-wise - which BC is working hard to correct. Some SC players may look around and think, "Wow... I didn't know they had this here."

I love In n Out.

One way we could beat the Trojans though is to feed them Tommy's burgers before the game.

No I understand....we might get a third stringer which in SC's case is a 4 star stud :clap
