Where and how do you cut things from your budget?

If you shave with something like this:

switch to something like this:

. . . or grow a massive beard.

Just bought 100(!) blades for my double edge razor for less than $20 shipped.

One thing I did to save money: Set up my programming with Dish just in time for the football season, then as soon as the Super Bowl was over, we cut it to the smallest channel line-up they had for $15/month. Basically was just locals plus a few decent channels like TBS, HGTV, etc.

I do this same thing...

I use those little freebie soaps and shampoos from hotel rooms instead of buying soap and shampoo. Saves me nearly $14 per year. Which I then spend on booze in the first 8 minutes of the year.

I haven't shaved since Bill Callahan was coaching at Nebraska.*

*edited in an attempt to avoid the out of context thread. Not sure I succeeded.
