Where are we Bowling?

I would have been down for Nashville when it was a 4 1/2hr drive.  Now up to 7-8 hr drive due to a good section I-40 being wash away near the NC/TN border.  Damn Hurricanes

Unauthentic, ultra expensive for something that’s new but made to look old, poor transportation.  The only redeeming thing is the Johnny Cash museum. 
 

and New York City baby!  We go 3-4 times/ year just to be. Where the locals do what the tourists do. Never been to Tokyo, but I cannot imagine anything more cool than Greenwich Village.  Not sure about Yankee Stadium in December tho. But I’ll do it for the Huskers. I’m such a trooper.

Bring it on. Are we trying to prove something? Yup. Even so, after such a stretch without a bowl game, I’ll take anyone at this point.

If we beat Iowa I don’t really care who we play. I’ll believe we have a chance, and the players will have confidence, and they’ll hopefully have more time with Holgorsen. If we play Alabama and lose to them, who cares, unless it’s by like 50 points.

I think on paper this is a reasonable concern. Here are some things to consider:

-Team we face will likely not take us as seriously given our record 

-they will likely have a chunk of opt outs

-this is our super bowl and our players will be very motivated 

-Dana seems like a good coach and will have more things schemed up

-we will have the crowd advantage 

-it's our destiny

OMG!!!! Can you imagine?  Former dominant program that has struggled to do anything the last 10 years is put against the most dominant program during that time…..and we kick their a$$!!!! Making a statement that we look back years from now as a sign of our resurgence. 

 
This is clearly the best bowl game in the history of bowl games, but it appears Nebraska won't qualify:

We will end up GameAboveSports bowl in Detroit. Against a MAC team ...... B1G/MAC tie-in.  Probably Ohio Bobcats or Toledo Rockets.

Good chance we will lose .... 6 wins 7 losses
