Where do we go with next hire?

Wouldn't be surprised to see someone hired who has connections in the southeast. West coast if pretty well covered and Diaco has NJ connections.

 
Well, since we don't have any coach's listed in the Top 100, choose someone on defense and just go with it. :-)

Well I also think we need another guy with expertise in the Midwest from KC to STL to Chicago to Indy. The state schools there are struggling and we could land some good talent. Here's an option. I don't quite understand what he can and cannot do as a Director of HS relations, but maybe he can do more as a coach for us?

I would like to see a good recruiter to fit in at the OL along with Cav. I am just throwing a name out there. Harry Hiestand. He is an excellent recruiter and OL coach, and overlapped with Diaco at ND (a potential link). Give him a title like OL coach/run game coordinator, and get him on the recruiting trail. I would like Sam Pittman for a similar position, but he just left Arkansas for Georgia.

 
Go get Trev Alberts. He was dynamite in the 3-4. And yes I know it's not gonna happen but everyone's gotten to throw out crazy names and I've yet to do it..... well other than when I suggested Obama as our new DC
