Where has Sean Fisher been?

Is Sean Fisher hurt or something? I know they BURNT his redshirt against W.Michigan on Special Teams and he about made a couple tackles. That being said he hasn't seen the field since, unless the official stats on www.huskers.com are wrong. So unless he is hurt did we really use a year for a couple kick-offs against a team that we crushed.

I just know that some of the people around here get all up in arms if kids use a year up to only play special teams a couple times. Well they used to when Billy C. was doing but I'm sure since this is Bo it is alright. <_<

Is he still listed behind Wortman at SOLB even though Wortman never plays because we always run the Nickel?

Which brings up another question, Why list a kid on the Depth Chart or a position for that matter if you never use him/it? Why not just say that Hagg is the 11th starter? Does this mean if and when they finally hand out Blackshirts that Wortman will get one even though he has only played 30 snaps at the most, but technically he is a 1st teamer? I'm just wondering. :dunno

I wonder if the amount of snaps we've run in nickel and dime packages is just reflective of the kinds of offenses we've faced. Will we start seeing more base 4-3 in conference play? (Aside from certain teams). Remains to be seen, I guess.

As for Fisher, he's wasting away a year of eligibility on special teams. Freakin' Callahan... Nah. I think we'll see more of these guys as the year goes on (by these guys I mean Fisher, Dennard...hopefully Meredith and a couple other guys I've forgotten)

As I am not local anymore and therefore cannot watch any of these first 3 games, I am not sure if he has played on Special Teams or not. You are right, stats don't indicate he has. I would hope so, because that is why they burned the shirt. However he has had almost zero chance to play a regular snap due to the offenses they have played against. VT runs more of a balanced offense so Wortman, and hence maybe Sean, will play a lot. MU, TT, KU, BU not so much. Teams like ISU and CU should also be a lot of 4-3 defense so maybe he will get in a bit for those.
