Where is Callahan's next job

The most valuable asset an NFL team has is the quarterback. With his track record, what owner would put their highest paid player in BC's hands? To me, that eliminates OC and QB coach. I see him as an O-line or receivers coach.

That's Head Fry Cook at McDonald's somewhere back in California!
Yawn!

I think if Gruden ends up at Philly that is where Callahan will end. Also for the people that say he won't get another HC job look at Zook and Willingham they landed jobs the next year if I'm not mistaken.
Yes, but neither Zook or Willingham had a team that gave up under them with implosive years of devastation --- Cally has had TWO --- the Raiders (who have yet to recover) and the Huskers. The Raiders players quit on him because, as all reports seem to indicate, they hated him. That is not so much the case with the Huskers for the NU players (at least the vocal ones) seemed to like him but gave up on his staff --- and imploded.

No, I'd be really surprised if Cally is a head coach again any time soon. OC perhaps. Head coach, well with the most recent two entries on his resume, who would hire him? Remember, the Huskers are not the first team left decimated when Cally has booted. They were the second in a row --- constituting the only two teams he was a HC for. Again, who would hire that?

Who cares? I could care less if he has to clean latrine's for the rest of his life. He's no longer HC at Nebraska. I wish him well in whatever he decides to do. Just do it away from Nebraska. :)

I'd be extremely happy if he ended up with Carroll at USC. If you mix greatness with $hittiness, I think you end up with mediocre. It would be great to see USC mediocre again!

Yep, you can put a teaspoon of sh#t into a 55 gallon drum of ice cream, and it still would be a bucket of sh#t.

My guess is the broadcast booth for a year or two...then back to the NFL as an OC if right thing opens up for him. He'll be fine.
