Tongue in cheek my friend. People around here are getting softer than a Mike Reilly ice cream social.Do you know of many women who coach football? Other than Scott’s Frost mom, that is.

It's a generic insult to males named Micheal. Micheal Riley becomes Michelle Riley. Kind of like the Longhorns get written as Longwhorns, and such.Try answering the question. Why do you call him Michelle?

Alonzo Branch and Adolph J. Lewandowski can suck it.
Bernard Masterson can suck it, too.
It's also really unfair to criticize Barney Cotton for his head coaching tenure, but he is tied for the worst winning % in school history, so he can also suck it.
I think if Michelle Riley coached the team for the past 3 years we would be much better off. Women can be meaner then men and the players would have spent more time in the weight room due to the constant naggingI’m aware of that. I just wanted @billdozer15 to explain why calling Riley a female name is considered an insult.
And they probably would have been on a better diet.I think if Michelle Riley coached the team for the past 3 years we would be much better off. Women can be meaner then men and the players would have spent more time in the weight room due to the constant nagging![]()
True. Apologies for messing up your Joe Dirt reference. They seemed like normal questions to ponder. And they probably would have been on a better diet.

I'm going to speak glowingly about a former coach, and say this *might* be his best contribution to the program:
I don't care how seriously you guys are taking this thread, I'm gonna keep going.
Agree with you there. The best coaches show improvement trends within their program within their first 3 years. If significant improvement doesn't happen within the first 3 years, it rarely happens with that coach. Riley's teams got worse record-wise compared to Bo, and his best year in 2016 was basically the type of year which got Bo fired.I don't know about freedom, but he had enough time.
If we are 4-8 a couple years from now then NU has other issues than coaching. If Scott Frost can't get Nebraska boys to winning, it can't be done.So if we're 4-8 a couple of seasons from now, it will be enough time?
The magic number is 3 years. If Frost’s teams aren’t showing significant improvement by year 3, the odds are against it ever happening under Frost. If we are 4-8 a couple years from now then NU has other issues than coaching. If Scott Frost can't get Nebraska boys to winning, it can't be done.
