Where would we rank...

Where would we rank if we beat Wake Forest this weekend by at least 2 td's and then beat USC? Id say we'd deserve top 5 at LEAST. What do you guys think?

 
I agree. Beating 3 non conference bowl teams is quite a feat. Regardless of the ranking, we would be the most feared team in the nation at that point and in my book, that is as good as number 1

 
Probably around 8-10. We won't move in front of LSU, WV, OU TX, FL, Wisc., Louisville or Ohio St. They have too many people believe in them. We might have a chance to make #6-8 if we beat Wake by 30 and USC by 10 or more.

We are at home and it's USC's second game after a bad performance so they won't give us enough credit unless we look amazing the next 2 weeks.

IMO we should be #6 if we win even if it's by 1 point b/c everyone is calling USC the greatest team by far this year and we would have looked pretty good. We won't get the credit though, they will rail USC for being overrated like they are doing with Michigan this week.

Seriously? This is the point of a message board. To bring about questions and opinions that fans are interested in.

How about this? Why don't we not predict any national champs, conference winners or for that matter even praise recruiting until the recruit plays there first game. TV and radio do this type of speculation all the time. That is why there are futures bets in Vegas. I don't understand why people care if we talk about USC. I am not looking past Wake, I am capable of chewing gum and walking at the same time. It's called multi tasking and I am not directing this at DJR b/c there are a lot of people saying this.

The USC game is the biggest of BC's tenure and exciting for fans at Memorial Stadium. I think it's a good discussion and fun.

 
When we beat Wake we should be 13-14, if we than beat USC we may jump all the way to sixth... with USC falling to five of course. <_<

 
i enjoy playing that "What If Game" as much as the next person, but I have a hard time thinking about the next game instead of the one that is right in front of the Huskers.

how about how much do you think we will improve after beating WF handely if Miami beats OU

 
I don't think Miami has a prayer but OU will probably right around us and Miami will become 15. The media will assume Miami is SOOOOO wonderful and OU really isn't that bad. That bias I believe is true. The love to overrate the ACC

 
i agree but they managed to put FSU in the top 20 again which was a joke. The only contender is VaTech and they looked mediocre this weekend. We will see if it was about the symbolism of that day or if the offense is really bad. I think ACC teams are always ranked about 5 spots too high.
