Which Big 10 team will we get along with most?

For the Big 12 I think that the team that we most respected was Oklahoma, and my guess would be OSU for the Big 10.

I think this is because, one we have similar levels of tradition so there is a founding for respect. Two, we are in different divisions and don't play each other every year, making the probability of us hating each other less likely than some of our other Big Ten opponents (ie Iowa, Penn State, Michigan). Three, we will have a common dislike for Michigan.

I could also possibly see Wisconsin as a possibility.

Every school has their d-bag fans but I'm thinking more than likely it'll be like you guys have said earlier.

Probably tOSU and/or Wisky. In terms of lining up and running it down your throats, Wisky all the way.

In terms of overall respect from coaches and players and playing a fun clean game with a great atmosphere from the stadium, your best bet is tOSU. Wisky stadiums have a bad habit of having people escorted out because of their misconduct. Not to mention having their band suspended...

I wouldn't expect too much respect from Penn State fans, they barely have any respect for their own team.

 
My guess is Minnesota........ They will be the little kid next door that eveyone is nice to. Kind of like when the neighborhood kids get together to play ball and someone brings their little brother along... You let him play and be nice to him, just to make team's even.

No, seriously, I could see a healthy rivalry starting up with tOSU. No way will it be Iowa - I personally will not let that happen..... After going to Alamo with Michigan fans, it will not be Michigan.....Already too much bad history with Penn St.....Sounds as if Wisconsin fans are like MU fans......

* Possibly MSU - we have had a couple of close games with them, but I don't know anything about their fan base.

Id say our besties in the BigXII was Kansas or Iowa St. because they beat us about 1 in every 20 shots. With that, I'd think we'll get along with Minnesota and Indiana. :koolaid2:

Also, in defense of OSU fans, there are some a-holes, but there are some in every crowd. The debauchery shown in this video doesn't exist to the levels as shown anymore. The Columbus PD along with E. Gordon Gee have cracked down on this type of behavior.

Im not saying that hazing of other fans doesn't occur (I have never seen it and I wear my N hat each week), but that video was a Michigan game for the buckeyes to go to the nat'l championship.

The drinking in the streets in now kaput and there is not trash everywhere. You have to have your solo cups and if a cop sees you walking around with one, they make you pour it out. . .I know this first hand.

But back to the subject at hand. Our besties in the Big Ten will definitely be Badgers or Hoosiers.

I'm not going to pick who I respect now, because honestly, i think we will have to earn our respect first. we are the new guys, ya know? so if we give out respect, respect will come.
