I'll put my money on Compton

I would say: Steinkuhler. Because he has Suh, Allen, and Turner around him, he will be left alone a lot, which is a mistake cuz he will wreck havoc...

Steinkuhler is a close 2nd, I still see compton having a bigger impact.

I see Alonzo Whaley having a huge impact on the D next year.

Others would be Compton and P.J. Smith.

I think 'statistically' Compton may have a better year (int's, tackles, etc..), but in overall contribution and the Freshman who plays a more dominating role will be Baker.

Whaley, all reports indicate he is becoming a force. If he starts he could be that LB sack master for Bo.

Compton and Steinkuhler should be racking up the body counts next year but Josh Williams could develop as a force also.

I am hoping Collins Okafor somehow gets some reps at back and has a big year. It's going to be very hard with Helu, Q, and Mendoza running the show, but hopefully we can have some place for him to participate.

Compton sound like a stud, but you forgot about Kyler Reed and Sean Fisher. Those two should be included in this poll. Both are big time athletes. Burkhead and Green will more than likely RS.
