Which is the worse EZ-E??

Truth be told, I've never paid close attention to EZ-E. There is another HB poster I know in the real world who can't stand EZ-E's posts, but that's about the extent of my EZ-E knowledge.

EZ-E regularly posts good stuff, but what is it with him and the airport? He's posted in the recruiting forum multiple times about seeing recruits at the airport and that they looked the part. I always assumed he worked there.

EDIT: Didn't he also wear a 'Bama hat to a Husker get-together? Seems like you could have found a way to work that in somewhere.

He got a little suspension for some things in the Frost thread, yes.

Ahh, see that now. Yeah he doesn't take to well to the Frost talk that seems to come up every year. There's something deeper there I think. Ahh, well. Frost won't be coaching here any time soon so nothing for him to get worked up over. My guess is the staff next year will end up looking very much like it does right now, minus JP, Els and maybe Kaz. We'll see though, I'm basing some of that on the Michigan/Akron game and thinking Michigan isn't as good as they probably are.

I cant help but agree with EZ on the Frost talk. I saw Frost play football and basketball in high school in person for 3 years. As far as Frost for HC goes, I just dont get why folks want to replace our current inexperienced and arrogant HC with another inexperienced and arrogant HC. It's just something I dont understand.

Hear ya there. Prolly because Oregon his the hot thing right now. Bo had quite a few years of experience more than Frost does currently, and that hasn't gotten us far. Plus, what does bringing Frost in do to help our D? I for one will not in any way get excited over the next HC (assuming there is on) until I know who his staff is made up of. The HC position is going to crap. It's a recruiting role, with a lot of CEO level stuff, and some oversight/strategy. The quality of the team is a representation of the assistants more than the HC. So whoever we get, they better be bringing in some damn good assistants or I don't really care who it is.

I'm one of the nine. EZ is one of the few people on here that I imagine to be a legitimate jacka$$ in real life. Most posters I have spats with online are probably decent folks, it's just that the Internet brings out some of the worst in people, I know it does with me at times. Give them a few days, be reasonable, and they'll probably be reasonable back.

EZ is not one of those people. I've tried making peace with him and it simply hasn't worked...and that's fine, I have no interest in being friends with everyone but at the very least I'd like to not be harassed and insulted by the same person in childish ways across multiple threads. That's the EZ I knew when I used to post more and he'll always be an a-hole.

I think the OP matched the tone of EZ-E's second-to-last post before his hiatus pretty well.

Frost is not a viable HC candidate yet. Anyone who says otherwise is dreaming. Assuming this season snowballs out of control and Bo loses the team (admittedly a lot less likely than the twilight of the Callahan years), the only job Frost would be suited for is offensive coordinator with a pay bump. He earned his stripes at Oregon, he has ties to the program, and he learned from the best in the business.
As far as the accusations of him being "dirty," count me as unimpressed. What some message board poster heard is irrelevant. To borrow a line from Training Day: "It's not what you know. It's what you can prove." And that only partially applies, because I've yet to see anyone demonstrate that they know anything. I've been on the board long enough to know that trusting 'insiders' who keep their divination and mysterious knowledge cloaked in the shadows of rumor and hearsay are basically worthless.

Yes, I'm talking about posters like EZ-E and others. And no, it's nothing personal. Without evidence your "I heard" stories are just that. Something you heard. I'd be more than happy to look at the proof/sources by thread or PM, but generally few 'insiders' bother with them.

Until then, sorry. Claim ≠ fact.
