Which was worse?

the play against KU BY FAR! USCs gameplan would have worked if better executed, players just lost focus in the KU game. I dont worry about either at all we're a strong football team and will bounce back, it was a bad game against KU. Taylor was off line was off just a bunch of things and we still won :bonez

I think that the 3rd quarter of the KU game was some of the worst Nebraska football I've seen to be honest. At least defense wise...

It ranks right up there with the stunning Blackshirt performance against La Tech in 1998. Troy Edwards 425 yards reveiving by himself. :bang

Beat me to that one. Or the collapse in Boulder in '01. Hey, at least we won on saturday. Nice work on the Pedro Guerrero avatar. Best 1B/3B/LF evar, well maybe Pujols is better.

Pujols never had OJ call 911 on him. So that basically puts Pedro in front of him.

"She is out doing coke with PEDRO GUERRERO."

Probably some of the worst football I've ever watched the Blackshirts play was back in 2001 when we played Colorado. Everyone getting on Coz for no during game changes forget how bad Bohl failed to change anything against CU. Whenever you see a runningback run right over the guard and our LB's stand there and watch him go by, you know it's going to be a long game. As far as I'm concerned, I think Coz's D better strap it up or he'll be coaching at South Dakota State or wherever next. At least when CU played us like that, they made a BCS bowl and nearly had a shot at playing for the title. KU will be lucky to make a bowl game. Nonetheless, they put up over 60 points on a D that was supposed to be much better than that.

Agreed, the Colorado game just plane sucked. I had to turn of the volume on the tv and just sit there in shock watching it with no sound.

I hate to say it but Coz is starting to get a rep as a Craig Bohl type defensive coordinator.

I've never been a Cos fan. In fact, I posted this on another forum

In 1998, the Wisconsin defense (with Cos as DC) finished 10th in total defense.

The following year, 1999, his defense fell to 15th (NU was #4). Respectable. In 2000, his defense fell to 79th (NU was 26). In 2001, his defense ranked 58th (NU finished 8th). In 2002, they were ranked 63rd (we fell to 56) In 2003, Wisconsin was 43rd. Nu was 11th. In 2004, when he took over as DC at NU, our defense fell from #11 to #56. 2005? We finished 26th. 2006 so far? We're currently 56th. Guess where Wisconsin is....15th.

Cos needs to step it up IMO and live up to the Blackshirt tradition.

The 3 q's of Kansas by far of the two original choices, but that sCUm game was just horrible. 42 points by them in the first half. And it seemed like every score was on the fricking counter, ahhhh. Bad memories.
