Smiles commented that today's game is "winnable". And while it's regrettable that he should even have to point that out, he is correct. This is one of those teams that, because of their style of play, we should be able to hang with. They aren't going to dazzle us with athletisicm. They aren't going to run up and down the floor. They ARE going to grind and execute and hustle. No reason we can't do those things as well.

Probably going to come down to whether or not they hit their 3's.

First to 40 has a great shot at a W.

Personally I don't know how well we match up with their big guys and don't have a good feeling about this game. It helps that it's in Lincoln. Our guys are such streaky shooters anything is possible.

Coach Miles is a pretty straight talker so that does give me a little hope. If we win this we will be better than I thought. Players need to get after it!

I agree that on paper it looks to be low scoring.

I think it's can be a win if Almeida plays, even if it is in limited minutes. I don't think we can handle their physical big guys for a full game without him. Ubel will certainly be in foul trouble without him.

Well I'd say that's a problem if a 7 footer with 25 minutes if PT can't grab 10 rebounds...

He wont play 25 I don't think. He is just way too skinny and is more of a midrange scorer than most 7 footers. There is a reason he has 6 total mins this season, defense and rebounding aren't his strong suits. He can score though.
