During his recruitment, just from the "eyeball test", I thought he was one of those guys who deserved 5 stars. If he was a few inches taller, and had a nicer tan, he probably would have gotten them.

Certainly the mustache wouldve killed another star if he'd had it during the recruiting process. Sorry, but no one on the national stage will take him seriously with that thing. It's hideous. It's a Cam Meredith impersonation gone bad-if that's even possible.

 
You guys think the football team could assemble a basketball team that could beat the actual basketball team?

 
Wouldn't really surprise me. The football team has 100+ great athletes to choose from. I bet there are 7-8 who can ball.

There were always a couple intramural basketball teams full of football players. They got after it.

I remember Damon Benning saying on his morning show once that Eric Warfield and one other football player were the two best bball players on campus. Said they played a couple pickup games with guys from the basketball team and that they whooped up on em. Concerning the current guys, just off the top of my head I know that Zach Sterup could easily play basketball for the skers.

Doc made a hard push for him to do so. I honestly think Zach is a better basketball player than a football player. Saw him play both in high school on numerous occasions.
