Yeah, I don't see Freeze coming to Lincoln. He has a good thing going in Liberty.

This. I’m sure there are some hungry up-and-coming assistants we could give the keys to the kingdom to so we can at least get back to .500 and play respectable football. 
 

Then if they go, we’ll actually have a base to build on…

 
Part of me says, f#&% it, hand the keys to an option coach. It will be fun for the fans, it's hard to prep for.  Hell Paul Johnson won 6+ games 82% of his time at GT and even went to 2 Orange Bowls. If we're not gonna be National Championship Nebraska, lets at least be Option Football Nebraska.

If they turn around and rattle off 7 or 8 wins kudos and awesome we did it we turned the corner. Unfortunately the team we all watched a couple days ago looked identical to the team we have seen for 3 years now.
