In spring you always hear about how players are developing/making strides who makes a statement during the season?

I went with Kinnie. He came on strong towards the end of last year.

I think Burkhead had his breakout year as a true freshman. His numbers weren't gaudy but that could change with more touches.

I threw down Burkhead. I'm a little too timid about E. Martin to put him down as my vote. I want to see that he has the mental part of the game down AND the physical part.

I went with Burkhead. We saw flashes of what he can do last season, but I want to see how he performs with his expanded role. If he stays healthy (knock on wood) I think he can have a breakout year, and with our struggles on offense last season, we need someone on that side to step up and have a breakout season.

I went with other because I couldn't decide between Cody Green and Kody Spano. I think one of the two is bound to break out though.

This is an interesting take. What kind of reasons do you have for Kody Spano? (not interrogating..just kind of curious)

I figure that Spano has something to prove and is going to be playing with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. This will be his third spring at Nebraska, so he has been in the system for a while now, but has been limited by knee injuries. I really like the guy's arm and can't wait to watch him in the spring game.
