Who is going to the Northwestern game and where are you staying?

Me and a group of guys are going to this game and we are kind of divided on where to stay. Anyone from here going and do you have a clue where you are going to stay yet?

Shoot, sorry, I probably should have started this in a different spot. Move it if you want!

I'd recommend that you stay downtown (in the River North or Gold Coast areas). Aside from the game, that is most likely where you'll want to be and you can take the train from there to Evanston very easily.

 
That is being decided this weekend I guess. I'm guessing we will be staying somewhere close to Michigan Ave. We will have to hit up Kirkwood Bar the Friday night before.

 
I'll be there, staying in River North area probably. If your interested in some good restaurant ideas just ping me, I spend a lot of time in Chicago.

I'm going!! Staying with my brother - so that doesn't help you much. I'm looking forward to meeting up with some Husker fans before and after the game. This year should be a much different outcome.

 
Me and a few friends are going. We will probably end up staying closer to downtown as we want to take trains everywhere and not drive much. The trains make it up pretty close to campus and when we aren't on campus we will probably be looking for good food or cheap attractions so i think its easiest to stay downtown.

 
Staying at a Holiday Inn right off of Ontario, a couple blocks from Michigan Ave. I was down there just a few weeks ago and had a good time, can't wait to see more red our and about in October.

 
I live in the area and would hope to go but that will depend on the budget. I was stupid and didn't try to get tickets earlier and now it looks like they start at about $100.00. Already blowing a wad on the Wisconsin game.
