Interesting how the tide has turned dramatically in the last two weeks from "McCaffrey has to play!!!" to "He's not any better.  Go back to Martinez."

Perhaps we'll be fortunate and the tide will begin to turn on the attitude towards the program in general.

 
Scott's comments about Luke being the future earlier this week make sense.  Let the kids know you believe in him even though AM is going to get the start.

It'll be interesting to see who starts, that's for sure.

If a kid is chronically turning the ball over then it's hard to keep rolling with him. I agree with the posters above saying that in terms of skill set, the two are fairly equal.

 
I will say that AM has shown great character.  I now understand why team loves him. Gets benched. His pregame speech after getting benched was awesome. He stayed involved, and bounces back rather than pouting or folding. Yes, he may not be a great or even good QB, but I dont think anyone can question Character or leadership.
