Back in 'The Day', a day of 'players trading stamps' (anyone remember those from 'DX' gas stations... with books and wallets for carrying them) the Jets were one of my favorites... with a running back named 'Emerson Boozer'.

Now, however, I'm just immensly greatful that BC won't be doing his 'coaching' with Husker gear on...

 
And i'm going to try to get to one game this year, hopefully, try and get as close to the Jets sideline as humanly possible, and yell at his stupid a$$ all game long, up until they throw me out...

If I pull this off, you can bet it'll be recorded on my phone...

Might be one of the reasons Lucky didn't go pro this year. Could you imagine Bill would be Lucky position coach and only use him for screen passes.

 
Well no offense to Jets fans, but at least they don't have *too* far to fall.

Maybe the powers that be there will wise up and boot Looser-C out (maybe with Mangini) before too much systemic damage is done. They aren't MY team, but one football fan to another, I hope that happens soon... for the sake of the GAME if nothing else.

well, best of luck jet fans. I would hope BC has reevaluated himself before taking this new job and maybe the jets will step up a notch, after all the only way is up.

 
Guys. Guys. Aren't you comparing apples to oranges. Just because he sucked as a head coach doesn't mean he will be a bad assistant. Before the Oakland and NU fiasco, he was well thought of. I think he will be fine as long as he doesn't get another H.C. job. There is a reason why a lot of assistants never become H.C.s. Many realize there limitations, and a few don't.

He's not just some assistant, he's Assistant Head Coach BAH!!

good luck with ol' billy boy... I am sure he will be worth something to someone up there... maybe there is room at Pitt for him if things dont pan out?
