Still a few guys still here that will never see the field. I’d love to see us take a big class this year(2026) with a bunch of DL and LB and infill with portal guys later

Right or wrong Rhule doesn't plan on trying to fully trim the non-contributors - at least on the field non-contributors. You're never going to keep 105 guys who could play for you happy. The goal is to have a pretty deep roster of ~60 expected contributors, and then a "practice squad" roster with culture guys and projects.
