I thought he was one of the better pitchers in the NCAA, Joba was great and got 1st round, Dorn not as good but still domonite went alot later.

not even close.. that would be a reason for getting a smaller signing bonus...
the main reason was velocity, with average off speed. He isn't as spot on with hitting spots as someone like greg maddux was when he was in his prime in order to succeed as that type of pitcher.
