Offensive Line man are reffered to as "The Big Uglies". I'd say he lived up to it. I wouldn't want to fight him no matter what he is wearing. It's all about attitude and so is football.

 
Have you seen him without his makeup?

you can not be serious. can you? that is one of the weakest arguments i have ever seen. back when i still played ball, i wore face paint every game.

To the guy who said it was an embarrasment... Look in the mirror.. And I think there are a couple in the pros that still do it.. Or was John Randle the last??

 
I preferred Sheldon Jackson's nail painting bit. You line up against a guy with painted nails and you don't know what you're getting into. I think guys had second thought before they put a hand on him or before they patted him after a good hit.

 
I thought goth was going out of style with kids today...he is a little behind. I think if your good, you don't have to have a gimmick thing like that to get attention for yourself.

But hey...to each his own.

 
I'm good with a guy having a little face paint on to keep the reflection of the sun down or keep those black heads from festering or whatever.

But this business of black streaming down your face like Alice Cooper or something is so gay. Sheeez. Can you just play football? It's freaking Nebraska, there's no need to dress up and draw attention to yourself like some kind of trick or treater.

Don't let it bother you. The dude freakin graduated so you won't have to worry about it so much. Like its been said, its not a big deal at all and no one but you thinks it downgrades a university. Tons of lineman in college football do it. Some of the "big uglies" on the O-line are just crazy...I would want to be intimidating if I was an O-lineman instead of a pretty boy...i'll tell you that much.

 
What a horrible thread. Why would you randomly bring this up over a month after the guy played his last game with Nebraska? Who cares why he did it? Maybe because he wanted to. Who is it hurting? "That is so gay." Are you 12?
