Why is having 100,000+ stadium the holy grail? Bigger isn't always better. Amenities far outweigh size, IMO.

Amen. Too many of these large and/or newer stadiums around the country have terrible seats. The NFL keeps wanting to build all of these new stadiums, and yet I consistently hear negative reactions by common fans to them.

And then the NFL wonders why those fans are staying at home.

Agree. Bigger is not always better. You can relate this to basketball arenas as well. Allen Fieldhouse is not the biggest out there, but the fans make it what it is - hell for the visiting team
