Why we will lose to Missouri

No, its the trash talking during our down years that gives me a fiery personality against the Tigers. But that is nowhere near the hatred I have for the Longhorns.

"The nickname "Tigers," given to Mizzou's athletic teams, traces its origin to the Civil War period. At that time, plundering guerilla bands habitually raided small towns, and Columbia people constantly feared an attack. Such organizations as temporary "home guards" and vigilance companies banded together to fight off any possible forays.

The town's preparedness discouraged any guerilla activity and the protecting organization began to disband in 1854. However, it was rumored that a guerilla band, led by the notorious Bill Anderson, intended to sack the town. Quickly organized was an armed guard of Columbia citizens, who built a blockhouse and fortified the old courthouse in the center of town. This company was called "The Missouri Tigers."

The marauders never came. The reputation of the intrepid "Tigers" presumably traveled abroad, and Anderson's gang detoured around Columbia.

Soon after Missouri's first football team was organized in 1890, the athletic committee adopted the nickname "Tiger" in official recognition of those Civil War defenders."

Now you'll just have to hate us because we're a bunch of jhort wearing, meth-addicted douchebags. :)
Don't stereotype. I for one have never worn jhorts.

 How did you know? I haven't been this freaked out since I started getting all those male enhancement junk-mails. How do they know I need that?

I've, uh, heard from friends that Extenze works best. It's Jimmy Johnson approved, and that guy knows xxxxx.

Ive got 2 better words....

Ricky Thenarse

or

Can't Tackle

or

Can't Stop The Run....oh wait thats more than 2 words....oh well.

I can't wait until Thenarse leaves and we get someone else to take his spot. I saw Bo over on the sideline talking to him in an angry face after Okie State put the first 3 points on the board. Probably because he missed 3 tackles on that drive. But some people were probably shocked that P.J. Smith didn't come down with the INT.

Hey, Thenarse is going through some rough times. Give the kid a break. Stay positive...he may bounce back and play much better.

We use the play selections from last week and we will be alright. Playaction passes on 1st down, nice. Pass to the FB on the goal-line for a TD, beautiful. Give the ball to the TE, well done. Rex + Helu = Run that pigskin !

I can't wait to send Missouri home with their tails between their legs. :koolaid2: The worst day as a husker is better than the best day of being a Tiger. :koolaid2:

Sorry, but for using a Danny Hawkins quote and paraphrasing it to sound like something positive for Nebraska should result in a half day ban, suspension, something. C'mon JOEY you/we're better than that.

Talk about a buzzkill to your opening sentence.

J/K ya
