Why were the shoulder stripes yellow today?

I don't care what the uniforms look like. I want to see the guys play with heart, passion, physicality and intelligence.

If you look more closely it appears he is actually about to shotput the ball with his right hand.

They have been like this for this entire year I know. Can't remember thinking about it last year but this year I know they have been this color. It is the color cream I guess.

I'm not exactly sure why. I don't think it is intentional, I think it is just the material. I have a real springgame jersey from 06 which is almost identical to the jerseys worn today. The numbers are cloth stitched on where as the shoulder stripes are some sort of vinyl rubber. I think they are suppose to be white but either adidas has defects in our jerseys or that we use a new detergent when washing them that causes the tarnish color.
