Wildfire burning west of Boulder

Can see the smoke from my home in Longmont. Attached is a link to 9NEWS out of Denver.

Thoughts and prayers to those that live in the 4-Mile Canyon area. Pretty scary.

UPDATE

Multiple homes have burned including those of 4 firemen currently fighting the fire. Estimates put the acreage burned at over 3000. No containment yet.

92 structures gone, probably actually closer to twice that

7100 acres as of noon

They'll find a few bodies in this once it's all over with-there were apparently quite a few people who refused to leave

Holy crap. I spent a night at a cabin in 4-mile cabin last fall. I hope it's still around....beautiful place.

latest link to 9NEWS. It's horrible. Tankers are flying out of Broomfield airport ever 20 minutes. 70+ subdivisions evacuated. The terrain is very rugged and steep making it a very very difficult fire to fight. Winds are expected to pick up some today as well. No containment as far as I know.
