Will gas prices affect the turnout at Memorial Stadium

Here's a good way to judge its effect: check ticket prices on stubhub/ebay. when those start dropping, then maybe we have something to worry about.. but they still look nice and expensive to me!

 
I live in Wichita, KS, it's a good 4 1/2 hours up to Lincoln and I still plan on going to at least 2 games this year so I doubt it will affect the turnouts (at least until the 300th sellout) got to go to that game! :w00t :cheers

 
With an Omaha metro population in the 800,000 range and the Lincoln population in the 235,000 range, I think there are more than enough Husker fans in a 50 mile radius to pick up the slack if ever the time comes that far away Husker fans give up their tickets due to high gas prices.

 
the only thing that my dad is changing this year is we are only going to one away game this year. which is Iowa State.

I live in Manhattan Kansas ( used to live in Sioux City) I have a stroker in my chevy pick-up and I still make it to games when I can. It's about $140 round trip for a 200 mile drive. but what the hell...........

The only ''gas'' that has ever affected attendance at Memorial Stadium has been the gas leaking from Drowning after an all night bender that was topped by a 5 a.m. raid on the Kwik Shop nacho bar. Cleared out a whole section two years ago.
